Foxboro Hot Tubs to play two SXSW shows

Foxboro Hot Tubs to play two SXSW shows, March 14th and 15th, in Austin, TX

A check of the SXSW music festival's website has revealed that the Foxboro Hot Tubs and Emily's Army will be playing the festival at a small venue.

We have confirmed with band management that they will play Friday, March 14, during the four-day "Music" period of the festival.

SXSW is unique in that its performances are spread out among Austin, Texas' many different music venues. Foxboro Hot Tubs are slated for Brazos Hall, a facility with an outdoor Rooftop Deck (450-person capacity) and an indoor Main Hall (900-person capacity).

Emily's Army is scheduled to play from 8:00PM - 8:40PM, with the Foxboro Hot Tubs following up from 10:00PM - 12:00AM.

In case you missed the news, the Foxboro Hot Tubs played two shows at SXSW in Austin, Texas.

The second Foxboro Hot Tubs show took place yesterday afternoon at Rachael Ray's Feedback Festival. The venue was the tiny Stubb's BBQ, a joint previously played by the Tubbies on their brief 2008 tour. The show started a bit late, but looked like an absolute party. Both of these shows featured balloons, SillyString-shooting alligators, confetti, and Pabst. Lots of Pabst. The Rev threw beer all over, but didn't drink any himself.
